Who we are and what we cover

Exchange Ledger is a publication about centralized crypto exchanges and on-ramps: fees, limits, deposit methods, verification requirements and which countries each service accepts. It is written for people deciding where to buy or swap crypto, not for traders.

How articles are made

Articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and built around data taken from the exchanges' own documentation — fee schedules, help-center pages, terms of service and country lists. A draft is published only after automated checks: every fee, limit or country list in the text has to match a figure stored with its source link, and figures that cannot be traced to a source are removed.

We do not claim to have personally tested products we have not tested. Where an article compares services, it compares what the providers publish, and says so.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure about a third-party service links to the page it came from and shows the date it was last checked; the full list is in the References table at the end of each article. Figures are re-checked on a schedule. If a figure can no longer be confirmed on its source page, it is taken out of the article until it is confirmed again.

Independence

We do not accept payment for placement, rankings or reviews, and links to exchanges are ordinary links, not affiliate links. If that ever changes, paid links will be labelled on the page where they appear.

Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, write to us via the Contacts page and name the page. We re-check the source and correct the article. The "Updated" date on an article changes only when its content changes.
